About the Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated

Support Worker to join our team, providing support across

two homes for two gentlemen with complex support needs.

You will support:

- A 56-year-old gentleman with Down's Syndrome and an eating disorder

- A 28-year-old gentleman with severe learning disabilities, epilepsy, and behaviours of distress

Both gentlemen require:

- Full personal care

- PEG feeding

- Support with daily living activities

- Assistance to access and enjoy their local community

They have a variety of interests, including:

- Listening to Stevie Wonder and other music

- Playing drums

- Dancing

- Bowling

- Trips to the beach

- Visiting the pub

- Spending time out and about in the community

This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while supporting each person to live a full and active life.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

- Compassionate, patient, and reliable

- Comfortable providing personal care and supporting people with complex health needs

- Able to remain calm and positive in challenging situations

- Committed to promoting independence, dignity, and choice

- A good communicator and team player

- Flexible to work a variety of shift patterns, including sleep-ins
