The Telehandler Role
As the site Telehandler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating the telehandler to support the smooth running of site operations. Duties will include:
Operating the telehandler safely and responsibly in accordance with site rules and procedures.
Loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials around the site.
Carrying out daily pre-use checks and reporting any defects or maintenance issues.
Ensuring all loads are handled safely and securely.
Requirements for the Telehandler
Previous experience working in a Telehandler position.
Valid CPCS Telehandler Card.
Relevant experience within a construction/site environment.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
Good communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure.
