Summary

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Van Driver on behalf of our client based in Coleshill, Birmingham.

We are looking for a reliable, professional and customer-focused Van Driver to join our client’s team, carrying out multi-drop deliveries to customer premises.

The successful candidate will have a full UK driving licence, a good attitude towards customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

. Carry out multi-drop deliveries to customer premises safely and efficiently.

. Load, unload, prepare and inspect the delivery vehicle.

. Check loads against delivery documentation and report any discrepancies or quality issues to your Line Manager.

. Obtain relevant customer signatures upon delivery.

. Carry out routine vehicle checks, including fuel, oil and water, to ensure the vehicle is maintained in proper working condition.

. Deal with customer queries and complaints professionally, resolving issues where possible or escalating them to the appropriate person.

. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and within the required timescales.

. Follow all company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.

. Maintain a professional image when representing the company at customer premises.

You should be comfortable working independently, managing your own delivery schedule and interacting professionally with customers throughout the day.
