Summary

Cover Supervisor – Hounslow | Secondary School

A secondary school in Hounslow is looking for a confident Cover Supervisor to join their team.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for classes when the regular teacher is absent, delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and ensuring students remain focused and engaged with their work.

You will need to be confident leading a whole secondary classroom, giving clear instructions, managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment. While you won't be expected to plan lessons, you should be comfortable explaining the work provided and supporting students with their learning.

This role would suit an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, graduate or someone with previous experience leading groups of young people. Strong communication and classroom management skills are essential.
