Summary

SEND Teaching Assistant – Wimbledon | Full-Time

A specialist SEND school in Wimbledon is looking for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team.

You will support students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).

Working within smaller class sizes, you’ll have the opportunity to provide more individualised support and build strong relationships with the students you work with. You will support learning in the classroom, work with students 1:1 and in small groups, and help develop communication, confidence and independence.

The school is looking for a patient, positive and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistant who is comfortable supporting students with additional needs. Previous experience with autism, learning difficulties or within a SEND school would be highly beneficial.
