Summary
Plumpton College is a leading provider of land and environmental education in the UK, situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park. About the role:
You will deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment, to support students to maximise their potential in making positive progress towards their success. The role involves you to co-ordinate, lead and deliver across several theory and practical units to a range of programme levels 1, 2 and 3.
You will
Work with a diverse and passionate team of equine teaching professionals
Plan, prepare and deliver highly effective lessons
Support the diverse needs of students to ensure they reach their full potential
Create engaging and interactive learning experiences to ensure high levels of attendance
Assess students' progress through written and practical assessments
Monitor and track students' progress to ensure they achieve their goals
Promote learning through links to the equine industry
Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement
About you
You will bring:
A passion of the equine industry to inspire others
Have experience of coaching riding, practical and theory delivery across a wide range of abilities
A highly organised and adaptable approach to your teaching and coaching
Experience of the equine industry and have professional experience, and a formal qualification to recognise this knowledge
A proactive approach to managing deadlines
Excellent communication skills
