Summary
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and professional Female Domiciliary Care Worker to support people in their own homes.
The role involves travelling between service users and helping them remain safe, comfortable and independent. Duties may include:
• Providing personal care while maintaining dignity and privacy
• Supporting with washing, dressing and toileting
• Assisting with medication in line with care plans
• Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition
• Completing light household duties
• Keeping accurate care records and reporting concerns
• Following safeguarding, infection-control and health-and-safety procedures
This position is open to women only because it involves providing intimate personal care to female service users, where maintaining their privacy and dignity is essential. This is an occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Employment is subject to satisfactory references, right-to-work verification, an appropriate Enhanced DBS check and completion of all required training and competency assessments.
