The role is ideal for a registered Paramedic or Nurse with strong Pre-Hospital Emergency Care experience and a proven background in delivering and assessing regulated First Aid and Pre-Hospital Care qualifications.You’ll design, develop and deliver regulated programmes that blend engaging classroom teaching with practical skills development, assessment and realistic scenario-based exercises. You’ll also support continuous improvement across our training offer, contribute to wellbeing initiatives and help shape future learning across the business.This is more than a delivery role  it’s an opportunity to use your clinical expertise to develop the people who protect and support others.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging, practical and compliant First Aid and Pre-Hospital Care qualifications.Facilitate classroom-based, practical and blended learning sessions.Assess learner knowledge, practical skills and competence.Provide constructive, supportive and evidence-based feedback.Adapt your teaching style to different learning needs, abilities and operational audiences.Ensure all training delivery meets relevant awarding body, regulatory and professional standards.Create and facilitate realistic, scenario-based live exercises that replicate operational environments.Use scenarios to develop learners' practical decision-making, communication, teamwork and pre-hospital care skills.Create an engaging learning environment in which learners feel supported to develop their confidence and competence.Course Development & Continuous ImprovementYou'll help us continually improve what we deliver by:Supporting the creation, review and continuous improvement of learning materials.Contributing to the development of new health, wellbeing and emergency care programmes.Designing and supporting practical exercises and realistic operational scenarios.Reviewing course content to ensure it remains current, relevant and engaging.Maintaining training resources, equipment and learning environments to a high standard.Bringing your clinical and operational experience into the development of future learning programmes.Health & WellbeingYour professional knowledge will also contribute beyond the classroom.You will:Actively contribute to the CIS Health & Wellbeing Strategy Group.Provide professional guidance on health-related initiatives and campaigns.Support the development of health and wellbeing education across the organisation.Promote a positive culture of health, wellbeing and personal responsibility.Use your healthcare experience to help identify opportunities to improve employee wellbeing.Quality Assurance & ComplianceYou will help ensure our training remains safe, effective and compliant by:Maintaining accurate learner records and assessment documentation.Supporting internal quality assurance activities.Ensuring assessment decisions are consistent, fair and appropriately evidenced.Maintaining compliance with awarding organisation and regulatory requirements.Keeping training content aligned with current legislation, clinical guidance and industry best practice.Supporting continuous improvement across our Learning & Development provision.About You:  We are looking for an experienced healthcare professional who combines clinical credibility with a genuine passion for education and developing others. You will ideally be a registered Paramedic or Nurse with experience in Pre-Hospital Emergency Care, together with a background in delivering training, assessing learners and supporting professional development.We recognise that candidates will bring different combinations of clinical, operational and educational experience. While experience of regulated First Aid and Pre-Hospital Care training is highly desirable, we are interested in hearing from individuals who can demonstrate the right combination of clinical expertise, training experience and a commitment to developing others.Most importantly, you will enjoy sharing your knowledge and be able to translate your clinical experience into engaging, practical and meaningful learning.You'll be someone who:Has a genuine passion for developing and supporting others.Is confident delivering training to diverse groups of learners.Can establish credibility quickly through your clinical knowledge and professional experience.Communicates clearly, professionally and with enthusiasm.Creates a positive and supportive learning environment.Is confident providing constructive feedback and making assessment decisions.Can work independently while contributing positively to a wider team.Has excellent organisational skills and can manage competing priorities.Is adaptable and comfortable delivering training in different environments.Takes pride in maintaining high professional and educational standards.Brings a positive attitude and strong team ethic.Is committed to continuous professional development. What We’re Looking For:Operational or occupational experience in Pre-Hospital Emergency Care.Experience working within a pre-hospital, emergency care or clinically focused environment.Experience delivering regulated First Aid and/or Pre-Hospital Care qualifications.Experience delivering or supporting the delivery of FREC Level 3 or equivalent.Experience assessing learners in theoretical and practical environments.Experience designing and delivering engaging, practical and scenario-based training.Experience delivering Mental Health First Aid qualifications.Experience supporting workplace health and wellbeing initiatives.The ability to adapt training approaches to different learning styles, levels of experience and operational audiences.A strong understanding of safe, effective and evidence-based clinical practice.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.A supportive, learner-focused approach and a genuine enthusiasm for developing others.Qualifications that would be advantageous include:Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) / PTLLSLevel 4 Certificate in Education and Training (CET) / CTLLSLevel 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET) / DTLLSCELTACert EdPostgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)Professional Graduate Certificate in EducationAssessor qualificationsInternal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualificationsWe are looking for someone who can bring professional credibility, enthusiasm for education and a willingness to develop.
