Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of MOT Tester / Service Technician at their established independent garage in Redbourn, Hertfordshire. This role offers an excellent MOT Tester / Service Technicianopportunity for a skilled professional to join a reputable team in a friendly, family-run environment.

Benefits:

- Up to £40,000 salary depending on experience

- Monday to Friday, 8:15 am – 5:30 pm

- One in three Saturdays, 8:15 am – 12:30 pm

- Supportive work environment with ongoing training and development

- Opportunity to work in a well-established, family-run independent garage expanding due to increased demand

Duties:

- Conduct MOT testing in accordance with legal and manufacturer guidelines

- Perform routine vehicle servicing and inspections

- Assist in diagnosing vehicle faults and providing effective solutions

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work carried out

- Ensure all work meets high safety and compliance standards

- Work efficiently to meet daily targets and customer expectations

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an MOT Tester / Service Technician

- Valid MOT Tester certification

- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and servicing procedures

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Good communication skills and team-oriented approach
