Our client in Exeter, Devon is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Advisor to join their reputable automotive team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in automotive parts sales, who wish to develop their career within a well-established company in the motor trade industry. The Parts Advisor role

- Standard working hours from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Duties of the Parts Advisor:

- Delivering expert parts sales advice to customers, ensuring excellent service standards

- Assisting with warehouse duties and stock management

- Handling parts for trucks, trailers, and general consumables

- Managing customer relationships, resolving queries, and upselling where appropriate

- Maintaining accurate records of sales and stock movements

- Engaging actively with colleagues to foster a team-oriented workplace

- Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures in the parts department

Requirements:

- Proven experience or knowledge in auto parts sales or engine and vehicle parts

- Strong computer skills for stock control and order management

- A clean, valid UK driving licence

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Customer-focused approach with the ability to build rapport quickly

- Open to training and committed to ongoing professional development

- Ability to work efficiently within a busy parts department
