Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
St Peter's Primary School are seeking to fill two vital part-time opportunities within our school community. From delivering excellent administrative service to supporting our children over lunch times, these roles are essential to helping our school run at its absolute best.
Administrative Assistant
• Fixed term until 31st August 2027,term time only plus 5 training days.
• Hours: 9am - 11am, Monday - Friday, 10 hours per week.
• Grade 5 £27,274- £28,153per annum pro rata, pay award pending (actual salary £6,312- £6,516).
We are looking for a colleague who is:
• A great communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Experienced in a similar administrative role.
• Educated to a good standard, with strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Highly motivated and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Supervisory Assistant
• Fixed term until 31st August 2027, term time only.
• Hours: 11:30am - 1:00pm, Tuesday, 1.5 hours per week.
• Grade 2 £25,614per annum pro rata (actual salary £866 per annum).
We are looking for a colleague who has:
• Proven ability to safeguard children, build positive relationships, and handle challenging behaviours with emotional resilience.
• Strong communication skills to work as part of a supportive team and a flexible approach to meet changing daily requirements.
• Experience working in a similar role in a school setting.
• Ability to deal well with minor incidents, first aid and the personal health and hygiene of pupils.
