The position offers an opportunity for an experienced HGV driver to join a professional logistics environment on a temporary night-shift basis.The roleWe are seeking a dependable HGV Class 2 Driver to work night shifts in and around Batley. You will be responsible for completing planned deliveries and collections safely, legally and on time while providing a professional service.Key responsibilities• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle responsibly and in line with road safety requirements• Complete delivery and collection duties according to instructions• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift• Ensure goods are handled securely and delivery paperwork is completed accurately• Report any vehicle, load or delivery issues promptly• Maintain a professional and helpful manner at all timesSkills and qualifications• HGV Class 2 entitlement with the appropriate licence to drive professionally• Relevant Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph experience• Previous commercial driving experience preferred• Good knowledge of UK roads and safe driving practices• Reliable, punctual and able to work night shifts• Strong communication skills and a responsible approach to vehicle and load securityBenefits• £16.00 to £17.00 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunities visible to local employersApply today.
