About the Role / Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Tutor to join our team in Dunstable. This role offers an opportunity to engage with learners and help them achieve their educational goals in a supportive environment. As a Construction Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training in construction skills, ensuring that students acquire the necessary knowledge and practical skills to succeed in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons in construction skills.

Deliver Level 1 Multi-Skills training to students.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.

Develop and implement curriculum materials tailored to student needs.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Participate in professional development activities to improve teaching practices.

Qualifications:

Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).

Level 3 qualification in construction or related discipline.

Proven experience in teaching construction skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate students.

Experience Requirements:

Experience in delivering training in construction.

Must have taught Level 1 Multi-Skills.

Knowledge of industry standards and practices.

Experience in assessing student performance.
