Summary

Are you ready to start your career in Early Years, or take the next step by working towards your Level 3 qualification in Childcare?

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Modern Apprentices to join our You will gain hands-on experience alongside our experienced childcare professionals, developing the skills, confidence and knowledge needed for a successful career in Early Years - all while earning as you learn in a supportive and nurturing environment.

• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing.

• Help create exciting and engaging learning experiences.

• Learn how to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Support children's daily routines, including mealtimes, sleep and personal care.

Working Week

37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday

Qualifications Required

You need to have at least a 4/C Grade or above

Health & social care level 3 - desirable

Personal Qualities

You should have a strong interest in working with children to help them develop and grow.

You should demonstrate a good work ethic and be able to communicate effectively with the people around you, making sure that you treat both other staff and children with respect and care at all times.

Skills Required

Confident in building relationships at all levels

Understanding of confidentiality

Awareness of Safeguarding

Can work to guidelines and policies

Uses initiative

Excellent communication skills

Reliable

Passionate about working with children

Training to be Provided

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours

• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid

• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

Future Prospects

On completion of your level 3 apprenticeship (12-15 months), there may be opportunities to be promoted to a full time Early Years Practitioner and we will work with you to create a continuous development plan and learning pathway to reach your future career goals within the Early Years sector
