Homeless Prevention Officer needed in Basingstoke Paying £19.65 per hr ref OR115468
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of homelessness and housing options cases.
- Carry out detailed housing needs and support assessments.
- Make statutory homelessness decisions in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Develop and implement personalised housing plans to prevent or relieve homelessness.
- Provide advice and support to individuals and families with complex needs and vulnerabilities.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners to secure sustainable housing solutions.
- Apply a trauma-informed approach to support vulnerable households.
- Contribute to reducing the use of temporary accommodation and improving customer
