Summary

Walter Halls Primary School are looking for a lunch time play leader to join their friendly team of staff

We want someone with a big smile and a genuine desire to make lunchtimes happy and fun! We will offer you support and guidance in the role.

Main Responsibilities:

Lunch time play lead will be focussed around encouraging and supervision of play, organisation and safeguarding of children within the playground environment.

The successful candidate will:

• Oversee/supervise/encourage children on the playground. Identifying any issues that develop and deal with them promptly and fairly, following the OPAL Play ethos.

• Safeguard the children. Ensuring that the free play and games the children are participating in are safe, both for them and the other children on the playground.

• Help to assist the children with organising themselves when on the playground so as to develop their social and emotional skills.

This is a term time only position, working from 11.15am to 1.15pm, Monday to Friday.
