A welcoming secondary school in Leicester is seeking an experienced

Exams Officer to provide temporary absence cover. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with school-based exam experience who can confidently manage exam administration and hit the ground running.

The Role

Managing exam entries, assessment data, course codes and student records

Producing exam timetables, candidate schedules, seating plans and room allocations

Submitting entries, amendments and results to awarding bodies via EDI/A2C

Supporting the administration of vocational qualifications, including BTEC registrations and certifications

Coordinating access arrangements with the SENDCo and ensuring exam-day provisions are in place

Maintaining exam security and ensuring full compliance with JCQ regulations

Supporting the coordination and briefing of invigilators

What You'll Need to Succeed

Previous experience as an Exams Officer or Exams Administrator

System knowledge: Bromcom

Understanding of JCQ regulations and exam procedures

Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
