Looking for a driving role with a difference?

If you're a reliable, practical and customer-focused driver who likes variety and doesn't want to spend every day doing the same delivery run, this could be right up your street.

We're recruiting for an established, family-run business specialising in industrial cleaning machinery, supplying, hiring and servicing equipment for commercial and heavy-duty customers across the UK.

You'll be based from Tewkesbury, heading out across the UK to deliver and collect machinery, meet customers, demonstrate equipment and show operators how to use it safely.

It's a genuinely varied role combining driving, customer service, practical work and a bit of technical know-how.

The Delivery & Collection Driver role

•

Delivering and collecting industrial cleaning machinery across the UK

•

Meeting customers and providing a friendly, professional service

•

Demonstrating machines and providing basic operator training

•

Loading, unloading and handling equipment

•

Carrying out general yard duties

•

Updating the office systems following deliveries, collections and training

•

Making sure customers receive their equipment safely and on time

What you'll need

We're looking for someone who's hardworking, organised and dependable, with a positive attitude and the confidence to work independently.

You'll need:

•

A full, clean UK driving licence

•

B+E entitlement – essential

•

The physical ability to carry out regular manual handling

•

Good literacy and numeracy skills

•

A professional and friendly approach to customers

•

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

•

The ability to use your own initiative

•

Flexibility to travel and work across the UK

•

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Collection Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or similar would be useful, but attitude and reliability are just as important.
