St Crispin's is a special school for primary and secondary age pupils.

The school meets the needs of learners with complex, long term additional support needs who require a significantly modified learning environment. The needs of learners are primarily associated with intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Each class has a maximum of 6 learners.

We moved into our new building in Burdiehouse in early 2022. Facilities include 12 classrooms, Art, Music, Home Economics classrooms, a PE hall and swimming pool. We also benefit from sensory and softplay rooms.

Pupil Support Officers work as part of a class team, along with the class teacher, to support each learner to reach their full potential. As a PSO you will have increased responsibility within the team to support the teacher in leading small group sessions and individualising interventions for pupils.

It is desirable that applicants should have experience working with children with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
