Summary

Key Responsibilities: Provide a diagnostic neurophysiology service in both dedicated and non-dedicated environment. Perform EEG recordings, employing standard techniques without direct supervision. Perform portable EEGs in technically challenging areas such as ITU & NNU. Perform Ambulatory (24 Hour) EEG recordings. Perform Nerve Conduction Studies for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome independently. Perform multi-modal (VEP,BSAEP & SEP) Evoked Potential studies. Undertake a professional interest in a specialist area of Clinical Neurophysiology delivery. Responsible for taking appropriate action during investigations if serious abnormalities are identified. Undertakes interpretation and reporting in a timely manner.
