A leading care provider is looking for an experienced
Nursing Home Manager to manage a nursing home in the
Stockport area, offering a salary of
£65,000 per annum.
This is an excellent opportunity for a
Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with proven experience managing a nursing home and a strong track record of achieving and maintaining
good CQC outcomes.
The successful Nursing Home Manager will have strong leadership skills, excellent knowledge of
CQC regulations, and a proven ability to deliver high standards of care, clinical governance, compliance and staff performance.
Nursing Home Manager Responsibilities
As Nursing Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful day-to-day management of the nursing home.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the overall operation of the nursing home
Leading and developing the nursing and care teams
Ensuring high standards of resident care and clinical practice
Maintaining
good CQC standards and regulatory compliance
Preparing for and managing CQC inspections
Monitoring audits, care plans, medication and clinical governance
Managing recruitment, induction, training and staff development
Managing staff performance and supporting employee retention
Working closely with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals
Maintaining excellent relationships with families and external professionals
Ensuring safeguarding procedures and policies are followed
Managing budgets, resources and occupancy
Driving continuous improvement across the nursing home
Creating a positive, supportive and person-centred culture
Nursing Home Manager – Requirements
RGN or RMN qualification is essential.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who has previous experience as a
Nursing Home Manager, Care Home Manager, Home Manager or Deputy Manager within elderly care.
You must be able to demonstrate:
Current
RGN / RMN / Registered Nurse qualification
Previous nursing home management experience
A proven track record of
good CQC reports / CQC outcomes
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
Experience managing nursing and care teams
Strong clinical and care governance knowledge
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Experience managing inspections, audits and quality improvement
A genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centred elderly care
