Duties as Breakfast Club/EFYS Teaching Assistant:
- Supervise and support children attending the Breakfast Club
- Help create a calm, positive, and engaging start to the school day
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of breakfast activities
- Support children within the EYFS classroom environment
- Work with individuals and small groups to support learning and development
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
- Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources
- Support children's social, emotional, and educational development
Ideal Breakfast Club/ EYFS Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working with children is desirable
- Experience within EYFS or an educational setting is advantageous
- Understanding of child development and early years learning
- Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
