Summary

Are you passionate about using digital innovation to improve care and support frontline staff to deliver the best possible outcomes? As a Clinical Digital Educator (CDE), you will play a key role in helping CQC-registered care homes acrossSouth WestLondonembraceand embed digital solutions that enhance the quality,safetyand coordination of care for residents.

Working closely with care home staff, managers, digital champions, health and social care colleagues, and wider system partners, you will help build confidence,competenceand digital maturity within care homes. Acting as a local digital education lead and advocate, you will support the successful integration of digital approaches into everyday practice and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

You will deliver clinical and digital training on a range of health-related technologies and tools, including Remote Monitoring, Universal Care Plan, London Shared Care Record,eRedBag, Digital Social Care Records,NHSmail, the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT), RESTORE2 and other agreed digital solutions.

The role includes supporting care staff to achieve andmaintainthe clinical competenciesrequiredto use assessment,escalationand communication tools safely and effectively in practice.

• As part of the widerSouth WestLondon digital enablement programme, you will help drive the adoption of technology that supports integrated working, strengthens carepathwaysand contributes to safe,coordinatedand person-centred care for care home residents.

• Deliver practical clinical and digital education, coaching, and implementation support to staff across CQC-registered care homes.

• Support the safe adoption, effective use, and long-term embedding of digital systems, including remote monitoring, Universal Care Plan, London Shared Care Record,eRedBag,NHSmail, Digital Social Care Records, and RESTORE2.

• Assess the digital capability and support needs of individual care homes, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop, implement, and review tailored improvement plans.
