The Opportunity
An established main contractor is seeking an experienced
Site Supervisor to support the delivery of a major industrial construction project in the Portsmouth area. The project consists of a substantial
groundworks and infrastructure package, followed by the construction and installation of
large steel frame structures.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded contractor on a significant project with a strong pipeline of future work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Site Management team with the day-to-day supervision of site operations.
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise groundworks, infrastructure and steel frame activities.
- Monitor site progress and raise any operational issues to the management team.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks and site inductions.
- Liaise with subcontractors, project stakeholders and the wider project team.
- Maintain accurate site records, permits and site documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a

- Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and work packages simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Site Supervisor, General Foreman or Assistant Site Manager on large-scale construction projects.
Tier 1 main contractor schemes is essential.
