We are seeking an experienced and motivated NMC Registered Nurse to join our management team as Deputy Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate clinical leader who is passionate about quality care, team development and achieving excellent outcomes for residents.
As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care. You will lead and support the team, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and promoting a positive, person-centred culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Home Manager in the operational management of the home.
• Provide strong clinical and professional leadership to nursing and care teams.
• Promote a positive culture focused on dignity, respect and person-centred care.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments and clinical governance processes.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and company policies.
• Lead and support audits, quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with staff recruitment, supervision, training and performance management.
• Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals.
• Manage staffing levels and contribute to effective rota planning.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns.
• Assume responsibility for the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
