Summary
Support vulnerable individuals in their own homes to help them maintain independence, dignity, and a high quality of life
Core Responsibilities:
1. Personal Care: Help clients with washing, bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, and using the toilet or managing continence.
2. Medication Support: Prompt or assist clients to take their prescribed medication safely.
3. Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook meals, assist with feeding, and ensure clients stay hydrated and properly nourished.Light
4. Housekeeping: Carry out daily household tasks such as laundry, tidying, and basic grocery shopping.
5. Mobility Support: Help clients move safely around their home or get in and out of bed.
6. Companionship: Provide emotional support, engage in conversation, and listen to clients who may otherwise feel isolated.
7. Community Access: Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, or local outings.
