About the role

We're looking for a Registered Manager to lead our reopening solo-placement home in NW1, London, supporting a young person with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity for a manager who enjoys the challenge of getting a home fully established, building a strong staff team from the ground up and embedding excellent practice from day one.

What we're looking for

• A track record of Good or Outstanding Ofsted reports - if applying as a Deputy Manager, please include reports from homes you contributed to under your Registered Manager

• Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) as a minimum, and hold or have started your Level 5 in Leadership and Management

• Experience working within, or running, a children's residential home at a senior management level

• Willingness to be open and transparent about any safeguarding concerns, disciplinaries or failed fit person assessments

• Salary expectations in line with the advertised package and your level of experience

• Able to commute reliably to the home

What to include with your application

To help us move quickly, please include the following with your application or CV:

• Full employment history, including employer names

• Reasons for leaving previous roles, and an explanation of any short stints in employment

• Your most recent Ofsted reports and ratings, and any Regulation 44 reports you're able to share

• Confirmation of your Level 3 (minimum) and Level 5 qualifications, or progress towards Level 5

• Declaration of any safeguarding concerns, failed fit person interviews or disciplinaries

• Confirmation of whether you hold a DBS and are registered on the Update Service

Safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expect all staff to share this commitment. Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, references and pre-employment vetting.
