Summary

What's involved with this role:

Triumph Consultants are looking for an experienced Data and Compliance Officer to lead the management of learner data, funding compliance, performance reporting and management information systems. The role will ensure data accuracy, funding compliance and audit readiness, while providing high-quality analysis and reporting to support service planning, performance improvement and funding optimisation. Contract is for 9 months in West Sussex.

Data and Compliance Officer (Finance)

Pay Rate: £21.34 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 37, Monday – Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Contract length: 9 Months

Location: Chichester, West Sussex, PO19 1RQ

Basic DBS required for this role

Key requirements:

Strong experience of post-16/post-19 MIS, learner data and funding systems.

Detailed knowledge of learning and skills funding rules, ILR requirements and funding assurance processes.

Experience of data analysis, dashboard reporting, audit preparation and compliance monitoring.

Analytical and IT skills, with the ability to interpret complex performance and funding data.

Excellent communication skills and experience working with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and develop the service’s MI System, data reporting and quality assurance processes.

Manage ILR submissions, funding returns and compliance monitoring activities.

Produce performance reports, dashboards and management information for senior leaders and partners.

Support curriculum planning, funding forecasting, audits, inspections and quality improvement activities.

Identify and mitigate funding, compliance and performance risks across direct and commissioned provision.
