Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

M Group Water are proud to be a key partner on the Caledonia Water Alliance and will successfully and safely work with Scottish Water to jointly deliver SR21, a six-year water and wastewater infrastructure pan Scotland capital investment programme.

This role will be within our Water Division, working on one of our current three frameworks with Scottish Water.

- SR21 DV1 : Capital works water and wastewater framework, delivered by the Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA) Joint Venture. Primarily infrastructure and civil engineering project improving network resilient and protecting the environment.

- SR21 DV2 : Predominantly MEICA based capital maintenance framework on existing water and wastewater assets. Upgrade, refurbishment and high value capital maintenance projects

- SR27 DV4 : The integrated design and construction of civil and infrastructure projects within SW 12 years enterprise arrangement. Project and progharmeme opportunities across the full capital investment programme.

What will you be doing?

You’ll play a key role in our Commercial Team, managing the commercial and financial administration of our Capital Delivery Framework. Working closely with delivery teams, you’ll support clean and waste infrastructure projects.

You’ll focus on maximising value, controlling costs, and ensuring operational and contractual compliance. With robust estimates, accurate forecasting, and effective procurement strategies, you’ll enable successful project outcomes.

What you’ll bring

- Do you have a degree in Quantity Surveying or an HNC/HND in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, plus specific QS/commercial experience?

- Can you demonstrate strong financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting skills?

- Are you confident working cross-functionally with commercial, delivery, and procurement teams?

- Will you challenge variances, drive value, and help deliver project success?

- Do you hold a valid UK driving licence?
