The Mobile Plant Engineer role is ideally suited for skilled professionals with experience in HGV or vehicle maintenance, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnostics. Our client values proactive, customer-focused Mobile Plant Engineers committed to operational excellence.

Duties:

- Service, inspect, and repair plant equipment including diggers, dumpers, telehandlers, trailers, pallet trucks, and pumps

- Diagnose and resolve hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults

- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure fleet reliability

- Perform refurbishments and replacements as needed

- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental procedures

- Ensure all work meets manufacturer standards and quality guidelines

- Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime

Requirements:

- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification

- Experience as an HGV or Plant Technician

- Full UK driving licence

- Own tools (specialist tools provided by the company)

- Proactive approach with a focus on customer service and quality

- Demonstrable experience in hydraulic and electrical systems is advantageous

- Familiarity with health and safety regulations within plant and fleet maintenance
