Summary

Our client, a well-established automotive dealership based in Chichester, West Sussex, is seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join their team. Duties:

- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue

- Deliver excellent customer service and foster long-term client relationships

- Manage the sales process from initial contact through to vehicle handover

- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of vehicle stock, finance options, and market trends

- Ensure a professional and engaging customer buying journey

- Oversee administrative and organisational tasks related to sales operations

- Support the team in achieving their personal and team targets

Requirements:

- Full, clean driving licence

- Proficient in PC applications and Microsoft Office suite

- Web literate with excellent organisational skills

- Proven experience in automotive sales or managerial roles

- Ability to motivate and develop a sales team

- F&I experience is desirable but not essential

- Strong communication and organisational skills

- Customer-focused with high attention to detail
