What skills and experience we're looking for
St. Margaret Clitherow Catholic Primary School is a one-form entry school. We are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with SEN and wants to be part of a collaborative school community.
We are looking for someone who is:
• supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
• Support children with a range of additional needs
• Foster positive relationships with children, helping them develop socially, emotionally and academically
• have previous experience supporting children with SEN within a primary school or similar educational setting
• is willing to work with pupils between 5 years and 11 years of age
• Demonstrate patience, empathy, resilience and excellent communication skills.
