Summary
Our client is seeking enthusiastic and personable
Front of House Staff to create memorable experiences for their guests. In this lively role, you will be the welcoming face of their establishment, ensuring smooth service and a vibrant atmosphere. Your energy and hospitality will set the tone for an exceptional customer journey, whether greeting guests, serving food and drinks, or assisting with event setups. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to a positive community space.
Working days are Thursday - Saturday from 5pm till late (minimum 5 hours per evening), occasionally Wednesday evening.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, providing friendly and attentive service throughout the guest experience.
- Serve food, beverages, and handle bar duties including bartending or barista tasks as needed.
- Assist with dessert preparation, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Support setting up tables, serving guests and taking payments.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and food safety protocols to inform and assist guests effectively.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming by clearing tables and resetting spaces promptly.
- Stock up cold drinks and wine.
- At the end of the night help with cleaning the dining area and floor.
Experience:
- Previous experience in restaurant service or hospitality roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures is a plus.
- Experience in catering, serving, bartending, or barista work will enhance your ability to excel in this role.
- Strong communication skills with a positive attitude are essential for engaging with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
