Summary

The Role: As part of our transition to Active Neuro, the therapy service is evolving into a seven-day model of care to better support the rehabilitation needs of our clients. As a result, occasional pre-arranged weekend working will be required. You will also be expected to work Bank Holidays as required by the service, with enhanced pay provided in line with company policy. Key Responsibilities: Deliver highly specialist SLT assessment and intervention for clients with complex physical, cognitive, communication and behavioural difficulties following neurological injury or illness Lead on the development and delivery of evidence-based therapy programmes, working collaboratively with the wider MDT to achieve the best outcomes for patients Independently plan, deliver and evaluate communication therapy groups, ensuring practice is innovative and patient-centred Uphold and model the highest standards of clinical care, ensuring practice reflects current national guidance and best practice Take responsibility as Key Worker where appropriate, driving joined-up goal-setting, therapy planning and discharge coordination Provide professional leadership, supervision and mentorship to junior SLTs and assistants, supporting their clinical development in line with ACG policy Take an active role in the induction, education and training of interdisciplinary team members Ensure compliance with professional codes of practice, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements Contribute to service development, policy implementation and quality improvement initiatives within SLT and across the wider therapy service Take responsibility for safeguarding within your practice ensuring people are protected from harm, empowered to have a voice, and that their human rights are always upheld What to look forward to: 25 days plus bank holidays Birthday off Join the Active Learning Hub and benefit from a wide range of e learning and face to face training and development opportunities Benefits Hub giving discounts and savings on your weekly shop Free 24 hour confidential Employee Assistance Programme Helpline & App to support with legal, health, wellbeing, relationship and consumer advice A salary sacrifice Aegon 5% matched pension Access to join a Medicash Health Plan for you and your family to save money on everyday health essentials like going to the dentist or opticians We recognise outstanding Active Behaviours via the Active Awards programme Enhanced Sick & Maternity Pay benefits Refer a Friend Scheme and earn yourself up to £1500 by recommending someone you know and, of course, the support and guidance of our qualified clinical and business leadership teams so that you can really develop your career with Active Care Group *Welcome bonus is paid in two instalments - £2000 upon joining and a further £3000 after probation*
