Team Leader - Witney

The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Team Leader based in Witney.

Pay Rate: £14.87 per hour

Hours: Thursday to Monday, 07:45am - 17:15pm

Location: Witney

Contract: Full-time ongoing position

We are looking for a reliable and responsible

Team Leader to support the smooth and efficient running of a busy Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC).

This is a hands-on role where you will help oversee the day-to-day operation of the site, support the team and ensure high standards of health, safety and customer service are maintained.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the day-to-day running of the site

Coordinating and supporting the team to ensure the site operates efficiently

Ensuring waste is moved and sorted into the correct waste streams

Assisting members of the public with waste disposal queries

Providing a high standard of customer service

Ensuring the site is kept safe, clean and organised

Monitoring and following all health, safety and environmental procedures

Leading by example and supporting colleagues when required

Reporting any issues or concerns to management

To be considered for this role you will need:

A reliable and responsible approach to work

Good communication skills

A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others

The confidence to take responsibility and make decisions when required

A strong understanding of health and safety

The ability to work in a busy outdoor environment

A flexible and hands-on approach
