Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is currently recruiting for a
Warehouse Operative to join a busy
warehouse, production and refurbishment facility in Chesterfield.
This is an excellent
temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term, ongoing work with a well-established business. We're looking for reliable candidates with previous experience in
warehouse, production, manufacturing, packing or refurbishment environments.
Warehouse Operative Duties:
- Removing labels from products ready for shot blasting and refurbishment
- Filling, testing and preparing products for rework
- Carrying out pressure testing and quality control inspections
- Painting and finishing refurbished products
- Packing, repacking and preparing orders for dispatch
- Stock organisation and general warehouse duties
- Loading and unloading products (up to 15kg)
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Previous warehouse, production, manufacturing, refurbishment or packing experience
- Good attention to detail with a focus on quality
- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting up to 15kg
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and within a team
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Temp-to-perm opportunity

Warehouse Operative Requirements:
Hours & Pay:
£12.71 per hour
Monday – Wednesday: 14:15 – 22:45
Thursday: 13:30 – 21:30
Friday: 08:30 – 16:30
No weekend work.
