Summary
Yard & Warehouse Operative – NDI (Sutton) - Jump in, lend a hand, keep the yard running smoothly and help make sure every customer gets what they need
At NDI, we believe the best ideas come from the people who work closely with our customers every day. Our teams are our greatest asset, and we’re committed to supporting, developing, and empowering them to be their best - today and tomorrow.
As a Yard & Warehouse Operative, you’ll be part of the day-to-day action - helping customers, handling stock, and making sure everything runs smoothly in the yard and warehouse.
What you’ll be doing:
Loading and unloading vehicles from customers and suppliers
Picking and preparing orders for collection and delivery
Helping customers safely and professionally with their orders
Keeping the yard and branch safe, tidy, and well-organised
Being a friendly, helpful face of NDI and delivering great service
Working closely with your teammates to keep things flowing
We’re happy to explore flexible working options. Feel free to chat with us about it during the interview. While we might not be able to meet every request, we’ll always listen with an open mind - and there’s no judgment in asking.
What we’re looking for:
There’s more to you than what’s on paper - it’s your individuality that helps make our team stronger. We’ll give you all the training and support you need to thrive in the role, but if you’ve already got a forklift truck licence, that’s a bonus. What really matters is that you’re motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, reliable, and ready to grow with us.
What’s in it for you:
We believe great work should be recognised and rewarded. Here’s what you can expect:
A strong annual leave allowance, alongside your bank holidays
Company bonus scheme, based on performance
Contributory pension and life assurance
Discounts on high street retailers, supermarkets, restaurants, gyms and cinemas
Colleague discount across our group brands
Attraction and travel discounts
Training and development programmes to support your growth
We offer on-the-job training and opportunities to work towards recognised qualifications, including apprenticeships.
At Huws Gray, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce makes us stronger, smarter and better at serving our customers.
We’re proud to be an equal opportunities employer and we are committed to creating a respectful and inclusive workplace, whether you’re based in one of our branches, on the road or in one of our offices.
If you need any adjustments to support you through the application or interview process, please let us know.
