Calderdale College is looking to recruit a well-qualified and experienced individual to work in The Engineering Centre (TEC) mainly with apprentices across the provision to ensure the timely success and achievement of their functional skills. As a Functional Skills Lecturer you will work closely with the Team to ensure responsive delivery models, whether face to face or remote.

Experience of working with apprentices and with a flexible and responsive delivery model would be an advantage. The individuals appointed will be self -motivated and focused individual who work effectively as part of a team and will have the ability to reflect and adapt delivery to meet the needs of apprentices and the centre. The main purpose of the role is to ensure apprentices make progress and achieve timely success in all Functional Skills and therefore their apprenticeship. The role requires a well-qualified and experienced individual who can deliver Functional Skill to level 2, ideally in both maths and English however candidates with one specialism will be considered who can demonstrate success in previous roles.
