Summary
The following are the core responsibilities of this post but will depend on whether the successful candidate has undertaken the relevant training and competencies. Phlebotomy BP monitoring Chaperoning duties Urine Dips Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses Administration of prescribed medications under PSDs Health promotion - Providing lifestyle advice on diet, exercise, smoking cessation, and alcohol awareness. Diabetic foot checks Supporting long-term condition management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) through regular monitoring and collation of data. Assisting with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording Preparation of clinical waste ready for collection. Supporting infection prevention and control measures. Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with practice and NHS guidelines. Assisting with administrative and clinical tasks to ensure the smooth running of the practice. This job description is not exhaustive and may be adjusted periodically after review and consultation.
