Summary

The School Nurse will be part of the Whittington Health School Nursing Team based in Haringey. The School Nurse will be responsible for the delivery of Universal Health Services to designated schools. Reporting to the Team Leader, they will support the development of the service and work with colleagues to ensure the delivery of a safe and effective Universal Health Provision. Main responsibilities include: To manage a defined caseload and cluster of primary schools Lead on the delivery of Healthy Child Programme. Plan, implement and evaluate interventions in response to changing health needs. Work in partnership with our key stakeholders. Provide confidential support and advice to young people in different venues. Facilitate the delivery of health promotion and health education activities in school and community settings. Applicants must hold a Specialist Community Public Health Qualification in School Nursing. This is a definite requirement for the position and applicants who apply without the qualification will NOT be shortlisted.
