Summary

We are seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse who is passionate about caring for older people and committed to delivering the highest standards of mental and physical healthcare. The Clinical Team Leader will play a key role in leading others in the development of knowledge, ideas and clinical practice particularly in the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of care plans for older adults with both functional and organic mental illness.

You will support, guide and monitor the performance of nursing staff, including supervising the work of Staff Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and student nurses.

• To establish and maintain communication with individuals or groups of patients, carers and staff, about difficult or complex matters, overcoming any problems in communication.

•To develop own knowledge and skills and contribute to the development of others.

•To monitor and maintain health, safety and security of self and others in own work area.
