Summary

🧩 The Role

As a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting children with their learning, development and wellbeing.

You may be supporting children with a range of needs, including SEN, autism, ADHD, behavioural needs, communication difficulties and complex learning needs.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting children in the classroom and during learning activities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support

• Supporting children with additional and special educational needs

• Helping children develop their confidence, independence and social skills

• Supporting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

• Working alongside teachers and other education professionals

• Helping create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

• Supporting children with their individual learning and development plans
