Summary

The Faculty of Health, Wellbeing and Management is looking to recruit Temporary Lecturers in Hairdressing and Barbering to deliver a range of programmes and courses within the curriculum area.

Staff within the team will contribute to the design, delivery, and assessment of engaging learning experiences for a diverse group of students at various levels, supporting them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment in Hairdressing, using a range of learning technologies;

• Support students to improve engagement, retention, and success;

• Deliver structured content to learners from SCQF level 4 to SCQF level 7;

• Contribute to curriculum development and ensure course content remains current and relevant; and

• Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain professional knowledge through ongoing development.
