Summary
Fawkes & Reece are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer to join a regional contractor based in the South Coast to expand their finance team.
About the role of
Finance Officer
The ideal candidate will be self sufficient and confident when it comes to raising invoices, credit control, contract reports and subcontract valuations. Previous experience, understanding and knowledge of CIS essential for this position.
Responsibilities for
Finance Officer
Responsible for uploading payment to the banking systems ensuring an accurate and timely approach.
Oversee and manage all credit control, ensuring promptness with chasing payments and monitoring of credit limits.
Review and Process Subcontractor payments & journals, also point of contact for any questions or queries
Assist with preparing journals , balance sheets and annual audit documentations.
Requirements for
Finance Officer
- It is essential this individual comes from a background in construction with an understanding of CIS.
- Attention to detail and diligence is fundamental to ensure accuracy throughout all work produced.
- Experience and background working within a similar role with relevant qualifications is crucial.
