👨‍🍳 SOUTH INDIAN CHEF WANTED – EDINBURGH

We are currently looking for an experienced South Indian Chef to join our restaurant team in Edinburgh, Scotland.

We are particularly interested in candidates with genuine hands-on experience in a busy South Indian commercial kitchen.

Position: South Indian Chef

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Salary: £31,300 per annum

CoS / Skilled Worker Sponsorship: May be considered for the right eligible candidate, subject to current UK immigration requirements.

Experience Required

Candidates should have strong practical experience in South Indian cuisine, ideally including:

• Dosa, idli, vada and traditional breakfast dishes

• South Indian curries, gravies and side dishes

• Biryani and rice dishes

• Parotta and other South Indian breads

• Chettinad, Tamil Nadu and Kerala-style cooking

• Proper food preparation, portion control and presentation

• Food hygiene, allergen awareness and kitchen cleanliness

• Ability to work efficiently during busy service

We are looking for experienced chefs only. Sponsorship/CoS will not be guaranteed immediately.

The successful candidate will initially need to work with us for a minimum assessment period of 30 days. During this period, we will assess practical cooking skills, South Indian food knowledge, consistency, hygiene standards, speed, teamwork and ability to handle a busy commercial kitchen.

After successful completion of the assessment period, we may consider Skilled Worker sponsorship/CoS for the right candidate, provided the candidate and role meet all applicable UKVI requirements at that time.

Please do not apply solely for sponsorship if you do not have genuine South Indian chef experience.
