TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large secondary school in South Gloucestershire, which is looking to appoint a passionate History Teacher. The school is highly academically ambitious and promotes a culture of high expectations, encouraging students to achieve their full potential.
The school is looking to take on a History Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful History Teacher will teach History across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high classroom expectations and supporting students to make strong academic progress.
The successful History Teacher will have:
- QTS with a History specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching History across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to deliver engaging and differentiated History lessons
- A positive approach with high expectations for student achievement
