Summary
We're looking for a Facilities Manager to join our Sheffield Schools team based in Sheffield.
Location: SheffieldHours: 40 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of day-to-day operational facilities management services across school sites in Sheffield. You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery, working closely with school stakeholders and leading a dedicated team to maintain excellent standards across all facilities.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Facilities Manager, you'll be working within the Sheffield Schools team, supporting them in delivering high-quality facilities management services. Your day to day will include:
-Managing day-to-day FM operations across assigned school sites, ensuring all services meet contractual requirements
-Leading and mentoring soft services teams, including supervisors, operatives and sub-contractors
-Ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments
-Building strong relationships with school staff and acting as the primary on-site point of contact
-Overseeing planned preventative maintenance schedules and managing reactive works to ensure timely resolution

-You have a hands-on, proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills
-You demonstrate strong communication and customer service abilities
-You have experience managing contractors and can oversee their performance effectively
