Summary

Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3)

£28,000–£32,000 per year | 40 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm

 

This family-run nursery has created a warm, homely environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to be themselves. Every aspect of the nursery has been designed to provide a nurturing space where children can build confidence, develop independence, and enjoy learning through play.

 

With a strong focus on creating meaningful relationships with children and their families, the team is committed to providing a safe, inspiring environment where every child can thrive. As a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you'll become part of a strong team that genuinely cares about making a positive difference in children's early years.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Full and relevant

    Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).

  • Previous experience working within an early years setting.

  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.

  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing.

Your Role

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Plan and provide engaging activities that encourage children's curiosity, confidence, and development.

  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support their individual learning journeys.

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children feel secure and valued.

  • Encourage children to develop independence and confidence through play-based learning.

  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery practice.
