Summary

Make a difference every day as a Domestic Assistant at Hafod.

We’re looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to help keep our care home clean, safe and welcoming for residents, visitors and colleagues. In this role, you’ll carry out a range of cleaning duties across the home, helping to create a comfortable and hygienic environment where people feel at ease.

Your work will play an important part in supporting residents’ wellbeing and dignity. You’ll also build positive relationships with residents and colleagues, contributing to a friendly and supportive atmosphere where everyone feels valued.

This role is part-time, 16 hours per week on a 15-month maternity cover contract.

Please note: We’re unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

We’re offering part-time hours with a range of shift options. We’ll talk through your availability and what works for you, while making sure we cover the shifts the home needs.

Some of our homes may have limited public transport links. You’ll therefore need reliable transport to and from work.

What you’ll be doing

Carry out general cleaning duties throughout the home.

Safely handle and store cleaning materials in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) procedures.

Report faults or hazards.

Maintain a safe, hygienic environment.

Work as part of a team to support a welcoming environment.
