About the role: Communications, Engagement and Alumni OfficerWe’re recruiting for a Communications, Engagement and Alumni Officer to join our PR and Communications Team.As our Communications, Engagement and Alumni Officer, you'll play a key role in delivering impactful communications that support our organisational priorities, strengthen our reputation, and bring our stories to life.You'll create and coordinate engaging content across a range of internal and external channels, including websites, email campaigns, social media, news stories, publications, photography, video, and events. Working closely with colleagues across our colleges and services, you'll identify and share impactful stories, communicate complex information with clarity and help connect learners, apprentices, staff, employers, and communities with the opportunities available through Activate Learning.This is a permanent, full-time role working 37 hours per week. The role is based at our Oxford campus; applicants can also be based at our Reading or Guildford campuses. Once established in post, hybrid working will be available, subject to business needs.What do you need to be successful as a Communications, Engagement and Alumni Officer at Activate Learning? We're looking for someone with experience in communications, public relations, marketing, engagement or a similar role, alongside a proven ability to create compelling content for a range of audiences and platforms. You'll be an excellent writer with strong storytelling skills, able to translate complex information into clear, engaging messages that inspire action.You'll be confident building relationships with stakeholders across a large organisation and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience of alumni, membership, supporter or community engagement would be highly beneficial, as would familiarity with digital communications platforms, CRM systems, social media and analytics tools.
